Opening Story:

In Myths of the World: Stolen Spring, the Goddess of Spring, Vesna, has been captured by the Goddess of Winter and the world has been caught in an endless cold. Now it's up to you, as the Child of Spring, to put a stop to this evil plan. Armed with you Spring Brush and your trusty ermine companion, you begin your quest to restore the seasons and bring Spring to the world I this amazing hidden object adventure game. 

General Tips for Myths of the World: Stolen Spring

Difficulty - There are 4 different modes to choose from, Casual, Challenging, Insane, and Custom. In Casual Mode, hints recharge at a faster rate, there is no error penalty in the HOGs, skip meters fill faster, and helpful glints and sparkles appear normally. In Challenging Mode, hints recharge at a slower rate, there is an error penalty in HOGs, skip meters fill at a slower rate, and helpful glints and sparkles appear less often. In Insane Mode, there are no hints, there is an error penalty, mini games cannot be skipped, and there are not helpful glints or sparkles. In Custom Mode, you will have the option to customize your gameplay.

Chat Bubble - when the chat bubble appears, it means you can speak to a character.

Diary - Your diary is located in the bottom left corner of your screen. Important information will be added to the diary as you play, so be sure to check here if you need a recap.

Magnifying Glass - When you can zoom into an area, your cursor will change to a magnifying glass.

Hand - When you can pick up an item and add it to your inventory, your cursor will change to a hand.

Inventory - Your inventory is located at the bottom of your screen. Hover your mouse over the area to display it. Click on the padlock on the right to lock it.

Gears - When your cursor turns to gears, it means you can use an item from your inventory.

Hidden Object Game - Sparkles will indicate a hidden object area. Items listed in yellow require an extra step to locate them. You can play a match 3 game as an alternative to the hidden object area by clicking on the "Play match 3" button on the left.

Mini-games - The question mark button provides instructions to how to play the game. The skip button can be used to skip the puzzle entirely, but it must charge first.

Navigation Arrow - When you can move to another screen, your cursor will change to an arrow.

Map - The map is found in the bottom right corner of your screen. Click on it to see your area objectives. Click a scene to fast travel.

Spring Brush - The spring brush is a special item you can use to melt ice. It will glow when it can be used.

Pet Tokens - Pet tokens are scattered throughout the game, and can be used to purchase special items for your pet.

Hints - If you're stuck and don't know what to do next, click on the hint button in the bottom right. Just remember, these take time to charge once you use them.

Menu - To access the menu items, click on the menu button in the bottom left corner of your screen.

Ermine - Your ermine can help you out during your quest. Certain items can be transformed by him into items you can use.
